ME1: Hey, the AI Teammates actually do work!

vlcsnap-2013-04-25-14h30m11s98 So I was doing my playthrough of Feros. Just landed at Zhu’s Hope, and of course I had to get past the Hopper Stairwell.

Having fought Hoppers on Therum before, I was expecting much annoyance from them. But… it went very fast, so I was quite surprised. Took me a review of the combat video to see what actually happened. ME1: Ah Good Old Garrus…

vlcsnap-2013-04-18-14h37m34s75

Ah good old Garrus. Do miss him a bit. Screwed up a bit in this run through in that I picked up Wrex and ended up rescuing Tali with Wrex before recruiting Garrus, but he’s now a staple in my team. Do wish that Bioware gave him more lines as per ME2/ ME3, but not surprising at the limitations of ME1 given that it’s an unproven franchise.

vlcsnap-2013-04-18-14h42m45s113And no, I didn’t meant to shoot this poor fellow in the groin. Especially not with a green, radioactive goop round. It just.. happened. Unfortunate imagery. This assignment was particularly hard fought, two Krogans are a bit of a pain in the ass to handle.

And lastly, a bit of a laugh at the Mako. I now know why people complain about it, but also why they like it. It’s a fun vehicle.. just nausea inducing. Just by looking at it go.

Watch it with the annotations on. I’ve never seen anything reverse directions that fast. 🙂
